Partner with Your Backyard Ecosystem Talk at Edison Earth Day Celebration (Edison, NJ, USA)

The 2012 Edison Earth Day Celebration will be co-presented by the Township of Edison, Edison Township Environmental Commission (ETEC) and the Edison Sustainable Jersey Green Team (ESJGT) on Saturday, April 21, 2012, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The outdoor, day-event will be staged at Edison Memorial Tower & Museum/Edison State Park (Rain Date: April 28, 2012). Ample street parking will be available for event participants and visitors.

Day Schedule for Edison Earth Day Celebration:
9:00 am – 10:00 am Volunteer flower plantings mulch placements organic debris consolidation
10:30 am – 10:45 am Opening event address Mayor Antonia Ricigliano
10:45 am – 11:00 am NJ assemblyman Patrick Diegnan (18th Dist.)
11:00 am – 11:15 am Middlesex County Freeholder Deputy Director Ron Rios
10:00 am – 3:00 pm Green/sustainable and eco-friendly exhibits, presentations, speakers, activities, crafts and vendors
